Mardi Himal is the Annapurna brand of Himalayan 360, a Nepal-registered adventure company based in Kathmandu. We focus on one trail: the Mardi Himal trek, from Pokhara up to the 4,200 m Upper Viewpoint. We walk it with the same licensed guides, the same porters and the same lodges, season after season.

§ 01 · The story

A decade on the ridge.

Mardi Himal is a native adventure company of Nepal, based in the heart of Kathmandu. Led by Mr. Amrit Nepal, CEO of Himalayan 360, who has been leading treks and tours in Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet since 2009, the team has led countless treks, mountaineering expeditions and cultural tours across the Annapurna and beyond.

We run two products end to end: the Mardi Himal trek and the 5,587 m Mardi Himal climb, out of one Kathmandu office with the same licensed team. Twelve seasons on one trail means we know which Forest Camp lodge has the best kitchen this year, and how the cloud rolls in at High Camp on a March afternoon.

The company is government-registered, licensed by the Ministry of Tourism and recognised by the Nepal Tourism Board, TAAN, NATTA and PATA. All guides are officially licensed and trained in High Altitude First Aid. Every traveller, alone or in a group, gets 24/7 support throughout the trip.

§ 02 · Why book with us

    Highly experienced local operator

    You will be working with Amrit Nepal, CEO of Himalayan 360, who has been leading treks and tours in Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet since 2009. Guides and porters are carefully selected and educated by him so you get accurate, current information about the route and the region.

    Government authorised and licensed

    We are a Nepal-registered trekking company, licensed by the Ministry of Tourism and certified by the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), the Trekking Agencies' Association of Nepal (TAAN), NATTA and PATA. Every guide is officially licensed and trained in High Altitude First Aid.

    No hidden charges, no surprises

    We are clear on trip policies and costs. Our estimates list both the costs for our services and the items not covered by our fees, so you leave Nepal with great memories and no surprise charges. The price on the booking page is the price on the invoice. The only thing on top is the 3.5 % our bank charges on foreign card payments, 3.75 % at the most, which we pass on at cost and which paying cash avoids.

    24/7 support and emergency cover

    Whether you travel alone or in a group, every traveller gets 24/7 support throughout the trip. We emphasise acclimatisation to avoid emergencies, and we are set up for helicopter rescue at altitude if anything goes wrong, with insurance liaison from our office.

Licensed and accountable.

Recognised and certified by Nepal's tourism, trekking and mountaineering authorities. ACAP-permitted operator, with group waste carried out under our agency protocol.

Your trek is led by officially licensed guides. Every guide is registered with Nepal's Ministry of Tourism and trained in High Altitude First Aid.

§ 05 · Guide profiles

The people who walk with you.

A licence number, a home village and a first season are all checkable facts, so we would rather publish those than describe our guides in the abstract. Every profile below carries six of them.

§ 07 · Plan your trek

Read the mountain, then come walk it.

We run scheduled departures from Pokhara, September to May. Most weeks the 5-day itinerary leaves on a Sunday and the 6-day on a Thursday, plus extra dates as groups form. Every other trip on this site runs privately, on your own dates. A 20 % deposit holds your place, and the balance is paid in Kathmandu before the trip starts.
