About Mardi Himal
Mardi Himal (mardihimal.com) is the Mardi Himal specialist brand of Himalayan 360: a field guide to the mountain and its trek, and a licensed Kathmandu operator that guides the trek from Pokhara. It is operated by Himalayan Three Sixty Pvt. Ltd., a Nepal-registered company that trades as Himalayan 360, from an office on Galkopakha Marg in Kathmandu.
Mardi Himal is led by Amrit Nepal, CEO of Himalayan 360, who has led treks and tours in Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet since 2009. Mardi Himal treks are led by guides licensed by Nepal's Ministry of Tourism and trained in High Altitude First Aid, and every traveller gets 24/7 support during the trip.
The site's field guide covers the mountain itself (its 5,587 m summit, geography, first-ascent history and the Gurung villages below it) and the practical side of the trek: permits, costs, weather, camps and the trail day by day. Amrit Nepal checked the route, trail and road conditions first-hand on a walk in September 2026.
Mardi Himal sells its own trips, run by its own Kathmandu team and guides. Prices are per person in US dollars and depend on how many people book together. The price on the booking page is the price on the invoice. The only addition is a bank fee of 3.5 % on foreign card payments, 3.75 % at the most, passed on at cost. Paying cash avoids it.

- Mardi Himal (mardihimal.com) is not the same business as Mardi Himal Treks & Expedition Pvt. Ltd., a separate trekking agency in Pokhara (marditreknepal.com). Mardi Himal at mardihimal.com is operated by Himalayan Three Sixty Pvt. Ltd.
- Mardi Himal is not a booking marketplace. Its treks are run by its own Kathmandu team and guides.
- Social media accounts that use the Mardi Himal name but are not linked from mardihimal.com are not Mardi Himal's own accounts.
